まず初めに、ラグビー フットボール ユニオン（RFU）の皆様に心より感謝申し上げます。日本で開催されるサニックスワールドラグビーユース 交流大会 女子セブンズにイングランド代表としてラフボローを選んでいただき、誠にありがとうございます。このような大会に参加できることは非常に光栄であり、国際的な舞台で戦えることを大変嬉しく思っております。チームを代表して、この喜びの気持ちをお伝えさせていただきます。サニックスワールドラグビーユース交流大会は、ラグビーの競技を超えて、世界中のトップチームと対戦し、選手としても成長できる貴重な機会です。さまざまなプレースタイルから学び、豊かな経験を積むことができる場でもあります。日本でプレーできることは決して当たり前のことではなく、私たちはそのチャンスを大切にし、ピッチ上で全力を尽くします。ラフボローのラグビーが何たるかを皆様にお見せします。また、この大会は競技だけでなく素晴らしい文化体験の場でもあります。新しい環境でさまざまなバックグラウンドを持つチームと出会い、試合を超えた友情を築くことができる貴重な機会です。ラグビーは、尊敬、チームワーク、団結の精神が根底にあります。この遠征を通じて私たちはフィールド内外でその精神を体現していきます。私たちはこの挑戦に向けて万全の準備を整えており、志気とチームワークをもってピッチ上で全力を尽くします。
Firstly, I want to say a massive thank you to the RFU for this incredible opportunity and for selecting Loughborough to represent England at the SANIX Sevens in Japan. It’s a true honour to be part of this experience, and I know I speak for the whole team when I say we’re beyond excited to compete on an international stage.This tournament is more than just rugby – it’s an opportunity to challenge ourselves against some of the best teams from around the world, to grow as players, and to learn from different styles of play. Playing in Japan is something we will never take for granted. We are ready to give everything on the pitch and show what Loughborough rugby is all about.Beyond the competition, this is also an incredible cultural experience. We have the chance to immerse ourselves in a new environment, meet teams from different backgrounds, and build friendships that go beyond the game. Rugby is about respect, teamwork, and unity, and this trip will allow us to embody those values both on and off the field.We are prepared, focused, and ready to take on the challenge.
